Today, we are interviewing Barry Vaudrin. He is a cruise journalist and travels around the world in cruise ships for a living. He is pretty good at video reviews and you can check the video detailing his experience with MyThemeShop below:

A. Who are you and what do you do?
I’m a Cruise Journalist.
I get invited to cruise on cruise ships all around the world and I produce video reviews and I write articles.
B. When did you start your first blog or website and how?
I started my first blog in 2007, and it just so happened that my podcast was the first cruise vacation-related podcast anywhere… now there are many. My podcasts evolved into blogging, writing for magazines and producing video reviews. At one point, my content reached two million people. I used a free online source to record my podcasts over the phone.
C. How did you hear about us?
I needed to upgrade and completely modernize my website to the current standards required by Google Ads etc. so that eventually I can start making money through Google ads on my website, and MyThemeShop seemed to have the coolest looking themes that look like what I was searching for.
D. Why did you choose MyThemeShop?
I chose MyThemeShop because it offered the best “look” I was searching for in a modern website, and it had the best template for integrating Google Ads.
E. Which MyThemeShop theme/plugin are you using and why?
I decided to use the theme, “NewsOnline“, because I liked the ticker scrolling message of my latest articles and content. I also liked the simple look of the theme.
F. One thing that would make MyThemeShop better?
I think MyThemeShop offers a lot of options. I’m a little hesitant to change themes too much, but I am interested in the many “plugins” that MyThemeShop offers. I’d like to try out some fancy plugins to help my website get more traffic.
G. One tool or website you can’t live without?
I am really impressed with the Paypal button I’m able to put on my website, and I really like the news ticker message that scrolls across the top of my website.
